1979 Pontiac Trans Am 2fs87L 2dr Coupe

This is an all original 79 w72 400 4speed ws6 TA 6.6 car with only 23169 original miles on it.
It was purchased in Oregon at a seizure auction by a man around 1995, he drove the car occasionally for abut 1 year and gave it to his adult son some time in 96. The son drove the car for about 1 year. The motor overheated one day, it was shut off before any serious damage occurred.
The owner had another 400 eng code yy with large valve heads # 16 rebuilt and installed with Edelbrock manifold , demon 850, pretty aggressive cam, headers and 2/1/2 exhaust installed. at the same time the car was repainted with the original paint code and a factory original door , fender, and hood were painted to replace the panels that had minor rust that had poked through in 3 spots on the car, but the parts were never put on the car. it also got 4 brand new BF Goodrich TA radials
The original motor was left at the shop until 5 years later when I retrieved it and stored it in my shop for the next 10 years.
The car was driven less than a 1000 miles and put into storage. Until just recently when I was asked to assist with selling the car and moved the car to my shop where it is being checkout and prepped for sale.
The original motor is currently at the machine shop and can be bored .020 and the factory original crank can be reinstalled. the cam shaft had a flat lobe on #6 exhaust will have to be replaced, the original 6x-4 heads are in good condition and can use with minimum service.
