Description

Here i have a 1981 trans am , this car is currently registed. It is almost original Blue on Blue except it has a fresh rebuilt Chev 350 put in it. much better then the 305.
motor was machined 30 thou. warm cam . double row timming chain. head work. very strong and quick
Original Super T10- 4 speed with hurst shifter shifts nice.
New Radiator with twin thermos
New brake booster and master cylinder
New Shocks
Interior seats in good condition new head lining. passenger door handle is broken at the handle.
All Gauges work except clock in the taco. the wiring does need a little sorting out but every thing works.
Large Drop tank that is rare to see on the trans am
Very straight and rust free car, the paint is very old and is showing its age. needs to be repainted or enjoy it as a ratter either way it is fun to drive.
Right hand drive with the original gauges but obvisily not the gauge panel.
If you know trans ams and camaros they are nearly the same car and by no means a perfect ride without a little niggling things that are always easy to fix with a bit more money put in them.
Also this is a true trans am as what it is. with out all other try hard trans ams trying to pose off as bandit cars all firebirds . fomulas base espirit f bodys with different nose cones and spoliers. with a bird sticker.
Nothing wrong with the originals but getting boring seeing them all the time.
lot of money put in the running gear but is needing cosmetics.
This car has good bones with the potential to be better. turns heads already
Also solid roof , which i know first time trans am buyer wants t/tops. but believe me they are a nightmare. rattle at high speeds , leak water when old. and no real strength in the roof , just in case.
I have tried to be honest as i can. but feel free to ask for more details.
