Pontiac: Trans Am Trans Am

Up for auction is this 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 5.0L with 125,708 Kilometers or 78,111 miles. All original beautiful interior. It appears to have had a repaint at some point or some blends. The tires and tread are at about 70% and the car runs and drives excellent. Everything seems to work but one front speaker needs replacing as it crackles. Under the hood is all original. For options it has rear defog, tach gauges, tilt, cruise control, am/fm cassette, remote mirror, buckets console etc. Automatic transmission. Also the drivers side door handle works but should be replaced as in the pictures. In the truck there are two small rust holes but over all the car is really solid. As in the pictures all the gaps are great. It would be an easy restoration. What you see is what you get. The paint is faded and is probably 30 years old and there is also a spot on the windshield pillar that looks like it was repaired at some point. A new paint job would bring this car back to its glory. Please don't think for this price that you are getting a restored car. It runs and drives great but should be fixed up with a paint job.
