1956 Porsche 356A Coupe, Polo “Type 930/4” engine, Transmission is a 741 with tall G-gear and a Guard GT Torque 12-bolt differential, All body panels are matching, Custom gauge for oil pressure, volts, gas tank and oil temp, Seats are raw aluminum Speedster seats the rest of interior is leather, Konis all around, new tie rods and low-as-it can-go stance, Wheels are brushed-aluminum wide-fives with spacers at the rear and Yokohama’s 205/60 at all four corners, Front disc brakes, drums in rear, dual master for added safety. The paint is 10 years-old and could use refreshing. Here’s what makes the car really special. Built to order Polo engine that uses twin cams (one per head), twin plugs, a five main bearing crank, and lots of other tricks to extract big power from these engines, and in this form is likely good for around 175 HP at something like 7,200 RPM. Built by Dean Polopolus, the engine was built and installed in 2014. Many custom pieces are included to make this car function including headers, exhaust, and finned oil lines similar to 911. Vented by electric fan and cooler behind right-front beehive.
