1964 Porsche 356 Cabriolet (NOT a REPRODUCTION)VIN 159861
Engine SN712602 (Engine is NOT the original engine, it is the proper type engine and in the number range for the original engine)
Same owner over 32 years.
10,010 miles on restoration done in 1986 of 36,000 mile original. Speedometer was rebuilt many years ago - seller will certify that the milage of the car is under 55k from new!
This car is a very very nice driver. The floor pans were done 30 years ago and they are excellent. The metal under the front suspension area and the fender closing panels were also done, however the welds are not perfect. Easy to clean up or redo these areas. This will not impact the drive or appearance of the car, so you DO NOT need to address these areas immediately to enjoy the car!Signal Red - German Signal Red Glasruit paint - the car was originally White.
Seats black leather, all excellent, original black vinyl door and rear seat upholstery.
Original Chrome wheels dated 1964 were replated many years ago.
Original Blaupunkt.
Karman hardtop is included (black Glasruit) w/correct headliner.
Stoddard black cloth top and head liner are excellent. Toolkit, Jack and Spare tire are included.
Recent Carburator rebuild and tune-up. She runs very well. Easy to start. Engine, Tranny, Clutch, Brakes and electrical systems are all great!
Car is located on the GA coast and seller will gladly transport to the ports of Savannah or Charleston for export if desired.
