Description
1974 Porsche 911 Targa.Fantastic restored car that runs and drives great!
This is an original CA car that sold new in the Bay area and stayed there until Apr. of 2000 when it was bought from Fantasy Junction by a Doctor in Centerville Ohio. He started the restoration shortly after the car arrived.
The motor was completely rebuilt at 102,000 miles by Bauer Porsche Repair in Oakland in 1994 at a cost then of $8,700
In Dec. of 02 starting with a rust and dent free body, the car was completely striped of its original paint and repainted. Every rubber gasket and seal was replaced at that time. the cost for that was $10,700
In Oct of 03 the complete interior was restored in leather, complete gauge restoration also done at that time, and still looks fantastic today!
The cost of that was $11,200
Wheels were properly restored in 04 and still look new.
Targa top done in 05 and never folded since, it fits nicely behind the seats without folding it up.
Front end rebuild in 05 at a cost of $2,500
I have over $30,000 in receipts that has been spent on the car, all very detailed as to what has been done. I can not begin to list here!
I have driven this car all summer with no problems at all!
There are a few little things that need to be addressed at this time.
Oil level gauge not working, believe it to be sender in tank.
A/C is not not working, and I have never looked into it.
Clock is a little loud. keeps time but just bugged me, so I disconnected it
Please call with any questions you may have. Phone calls will get first priority.
