This 1967 Porsche911 has 90k miles and is a 4-owner example powered by its matchingnumbers 2.0 liter flat-six and 5-speed manual gearbox.
Thecar was purchased in Rome, New York with 8k miles by the second owner,who kept it registered and inspected from 1968 until 2010.
This short-wheelbase 911 is being offered with extensive documentation, a factory tool kit, and a clean title.
TheIrish Green (6606) exterior received a repaint at some point in thepast, and paint meter readings taken from over 20 places indicatethickness between 8-10 mils.
The brown leatherette interior showssome discoloration on the lower half of the seats, while some separationaround the top seam on the driver’s side is also present. Both thedriver’s and passenger’s roll-up windows are moving freely, and theoriginal Talbot rear-view mirror is present. The headliner and originalsun-visors is well preserved.
The brushed aluminum dash fascia isstraight, and the 911 glove box insignia is still present. 1967 was thelast year for the green lettered gauges, and on this car the clock iscurrently inoperable, though the remaining 4 gauges are all workingproperly. The original Becker Mexico radio remains in the dash, but theantennae appears to missing its mast.
The factory solid rotorshave been changed to vented rotors and appropriate calipers. Theprevious owner went through the brake system, installing a new mastercylinder, pads, and hoses. The front axles were also rebuilt and newlower ball joints have been installed. Rear shocks and front strutinserts have been replaced, along with the shock mounts. The 15" steelwheels wear new Pirelli Cinturato reproduction tires. Included with thesale is a notebook filled with mileage and recorded fuel consumptiongoing all the way back to 1968. Service documents show that the previousowner maintained the car diligently.
The original 901/06 caseappears to wear later model cast iron barrels and a compression testindicated a 140 psi across all cylinders.
The motor retains itsoriginal style cam chain tensioner, and the original finned style lowervalve covers are also present. The rear portion of the engine bay wasrepainted and new stickers have been applied.
Engine is confirmed as original by the CoA.
Receiptsindicate that in 1968 with only 8k miles, the second owner had theundercarriage sprayed with Zeitbart rust preventive treatment.
Theoriginal 5-speed transaxle is verified as original by the CoA.Aftermarket heat exchangers were installed at some point in the past.
Indicatedby ‘911~~S 66’ on the front vin-tag, the original Webasto auxiliaryblower is located in the front compartment and operational.
