1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa 2-Door 3.0L

1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa. Purchased new in California and has remained here its entire life. No rust - EVER! Rarely seen rain, never snow. Extensive documentation/service records since 1980. Interior is in very good condition. Seats are in excellent condition having been recovered in the original material. The dash is perfect, no cracks. The Targa top and headliner have also been recovered, with new rubber seals installed – in outstanding condition. Original tool kit and manual. Serviced and emission tested (passed) on 7/25/14 – replaced oil and filter, new fuel lines, new intake boot and fuel accumulator. Starts and runs well – pulls strong. Pop-off valve was added and cam oil lines upgraded. Engine rebuilt, including clutch replacement, at 160k miles. Does not appear to have had any collision damage. Re-paint in original color approximately 10 years ago. Paint is in good “driver” condition – typical rock chips on hood and around mirrors. A few minor dents – can be seen in close-up pictures. Front windshield and rear window seals are dry and will need to be replaced at some point. Small oil leak on one of the collapsible return tubes. Clutch feels strong; however, third gear synchro is worn. Repaired rock chip in windshield on passenger side lower right hand corner (nickel size).
