Only 1,963 units were made to commemorate 1963—the year the 911 was introduced. This car is number 749. This rare model has increased engine power (345 hp instead of the standard 316 hp on traditional 996), the 996 Turbo's front-end, and was available only in Carrera GT Silver exterior paint. Other unique features include: X51 power kit, turbo radiators, limited slip differential, sport suspension, polished 5-spoke alloys (unique to this model), GT3 side skirts, natural grey leather interior (with luggage set to match), sports seats, polished exhaust tips, heated seats, litronic bi-xenon headlights, special dynamic sealed panels, and a special "40 Jahre 911" logo on the back. The power was increased from 316 to 345 hp (257 kW). It has the larger front bumper from the 911 Turbo (with intake grilles painted body color) special extended sill trims, 18 inch chromed Carrera alloys and polished exhaust tailpipes. Sliding sunroof, Sat Nav and Bose premium sound system and 2 leather suitcases in the luggage compartment.
