Description
All of the following work was done on it about a week before the engine blew.
- A new clutch
- transmission was rebuilt
- The hydraulic shocks that bring the ragtop up and down were rebuilt.
- 2 years prior the whole car was repainted to flat black.
- New tires
- The engine was rebuilt by LA Dismantlers in 2016 and it had 119,501 miles on it. I ended up paying about $12,000 for it. Supposedly the IMS bearing was fixed properly so it got lubricated and there would be no more problems.
- Engine blew again at 143,000 miles.
- The car has never been raced or ran hard.
