Description
1988 Porsche 911 Targa Carrera - 62,008 miles, G50 5 speed.
Grand Prix White, Black Interior - all original paint and interior. No dings, chips, scratches.
Recently tuned-up by notable top US Porsche tech (he actually has the same car and know the G-50's well), inspected, new brakes, new calipers, new fuel lines, professionally redone targa top, full detail- no expense spared on making this car tip-top. Vintage factory ADS power plate cd/stereo- if you are an audio weenie you know the Danish tweeter ADS units are magnificent sounding systems that Porsche installed.
Never hit, no rust anywhere, original, pristine, 3 owners (first (lady) owner since new, then owned by her caretaker for 2 years he basically kept the car stored then I've now owned it for approx. 5 years), very, very, well maintained always garaged /hand washed/waxed pampered -- - The G50's are highly prized hand built Porsches, rapidly rising in value and collectibility. This is a great example of a classic true Porsche in very desirable colors.
Issues: A/C - compressor turns, but starting up this season I note it does not blow cold - likely a recharge is needed, or coolant lines, which are notorious for leaking. Quite frankly I know few people who have bothered to restore the A/C unit these were weak from the factory to begin with.
