Description
For sale is a factory right-hand drive matching number '76 3L Carrera. The car has just arrived from New Zealand where it has campaigned as a Targa and race car very successfully over a number of years, with many class wins to its credit, all documented.
It is currently set up for track or Targa but could easily be converted to group SC or back to standard specs as a matching numbered 3L Carrera, as these are becoming highly collectable. It is very straight and rust free.
It just competed at Festival of Speed Eastern Creek, weekend 3rd of May, in regularity and in practice on Friday did a 1:50.2 on old tread. The car has just being serviced and comes with historic club plates so eligible to drive on road, which it does very comfortably.
List of goodies:
- Bilstein shocks.
- Hollow torsion bars.
- Lots of documentation including log books.
- Front and rear sway bars.
- Webber carbies.
- MSD ignition.
- Adjustable brake bias.
- 7" and 8" fuch's.
- Full Terratrip and head phone communication system.
- Front strut brace.
- Vented discs with Boxster brakes.
- Approx. 250 HP dyno sheet last week.
- Close ratio box.
- Good compression test.
- Comes with import approval papers.
Perfect car for someone who wants to start super sprints, classic rallies, Targa or eventually Group S. Good, honest, quick car priced to sell with low reserve as need to fund new project. Bargain at this price.
