Description
This is an award winning Porsche Carrera 4 in great condition. After 14 years, this car still receives a ton of compliments and turns heads on a daily basis. I have never driven it without several people taking pictures/video, or other drivers giving me the thumbs up as they are next to me. I have owned and babied this car for the past 4 years and made a lot of tasteful modifications to it. If you are looking for an affordable Porsche with many of todays modern features/technology than this is the car for you. I have invested approximately $21,000.00 into this car this past year (all receipts accounted for and come with the purchase of this vehicle). Listed below are a few of the modifications that I have made, which include performance, appearance and modern tech equipment:
Performance:
1. K&N Cold air intake
2. Fabspeed 200 cell cats (catalytic converter)
3. Fister Motorsports exhaust (it gives it that deeper sound when above 4,000 RPMs, but it doesn't have the droning effect). I can easily talk on the bluetooth at 80/90 MPHs.
4. Softronics ECU tune
Appearance:
1. Custom Paint (both interior and exterior)
2. GT3 steering wheel, shift knob and brake lever
3. Custom wheels
4. Painted the brake hubs
5. New Recarro sport seats
6. LED lights - the entire car has new LED lighting both inside and out, minus the front head lights which are equipped with the Xenon lights. The lights that have been replaced with LEDs are - license plate, side markers, interior lights and rear tail lights. The rear LED tail lights is one of my favorite mods.
7. Tinted windows
8. Porsche race pedals
Tech equipment:
I installed the Kenwood DNX 6960, which includes the following features:
- Bluetooth
- Garmin GPS (navigation)
- DVD player - I installed it so you can watch movies while driving (a feature I adjusted for my son to watch).
- Ipod/Iphone connector cord, which runs into the glovebox. NOTE: this is the older model iPod/Iphone cable - I believe this cable works for the iPhone 4 and below (adapters are available for the new phones - 4s,and above)
- SIRIUS/XM satellite ready (you have to buy a kit for it to install however). I never installed it because I listen to my iPod but I think the adapter kit is $150.00
- a 150 watt amp Bazooka tube (the stereo install needed a little more bass, which is why I added that). The tube sits behind the rear passenger seats.
You are buying a beautiful car that is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go. I have entered it into several car shows; including a few prestigious car shows, such as Festival of Speed, where there are hundreds of high-end cars (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mclaren and Bugatti) and I still received several compliments and remarks about my car. This car will give you the power you need, along with the performance that Porsche is known for. I have all the receipts and warranties on the products that I have purchased (including the radio/nav user manual). Plus, you will receive the service history and receipts of all the maintenance that has been performed on this car.
If you are wondering why I am selling it - I am currently serving in Afghanistan and I am looking to purchase a 991S or Turbo after my tour ends. Don't worry, you can still view or test drive the car if you want. My friend who is located in the Atlanta area is selling it for me and has all the appropriate documentation (Title, insurance, and registration card). I have a lot of hours working on this car and I enjoy working on them. I bought an average looking Porsche and transformed it into what I envisioned when I bought it (I can send before and after pics if you want, plus a PowerPoint presentation). Once I accomplished everything I wanted to do it, I decided to sell it and look for a new project car (turbo or 991S).
When you purchase this car, it comes with a Porsche Car cover. Also, I have the original floor mats and the floor mats that match the seats, if you want them. They are in long term storage right now but if you leave your address, I will ship them to you for free next month when I finish my Afghanistan tour and I receive my household effects.
