2015 Porsche 991 GT3
The Porsche GT3 needs little introduction, there are enough videos and reviews on line to keep a person busy for quite some time… To describe the reviews as glowing would be an understatement. With all Porsche GT cars, the supply is sharply limited, and customers wind up placing their orders well in advance of the cars official introduction to make sure they get a car. At Porsche Centre Calgary, we have guys trying to secure the first next generation GT3, as well cars that are only rumored to exist such as the Cayman GT4 RS.
For the better or worse, this has led to a very heated second hand market for slightly used 991 GT3’s,with many people asking $20k or $30k over list price for one.
This GT3 is a high spec car (CDN MSRP of $194,195 US equivalent MSRP $164,400) which includes PCCB Ceramic Brakes and Front Axle Lift, naming 2 of the more important options, the complete list is included below. This does not include $3,625 in Freight and Pre Delivery Expenses, and $2,000 for the full front 3M,so the final price was just shy of $C200,000.
This car has relatively high mileage (for a 2015 GT3), explained by the fact that it was a Euro Delivery Vehicle, and the original owner took it on a 7 country, 4,200km tour in Europe before it was shipped back to Calgary. It also went to Kelowna BC twice, and to Lake Louise, AB once which accounts for virtually all of its mileage i.e. all highway, and no track days. Some hard-driven Gt3’s can go through a set of rear tires in as little as 5,000km, or 1 hour if they have been tracked by Chris Harris, but the tires on the back have only 50% wear after 8,400km. Consider this GT3 properly broken in and waiting for the next owner. As a Porsche dealer we are able to put a Certified Pre-Owned warranty on the car which extends the warranty to 6 years and 160,000km from the in-service date, in this case Oct 10, 2014 - with coverage until 2020 . Porsche Centre Calgary purchased the Porsche CPO Warranty and performed the 1st year service for the vehicle at a cost of $3,715.
This GT3 remains in as-new condition, and is impossible to reasonably fault given the mileage. There are no paint chips, no curbing to the alloy wheels, and only a few very very small pits to the front windscreen. Nothing else that could be considered a flaw.
The price of this GT3 is less than MSRP, and also includes full factory warranty until Oct 2020, which is one year longer, and 80,000 greater than you would get with a new car. The options are as follows:
