Description
Up for auction is a 1969 Porsche 911T. You won't find a more original car than this, unless it is a barn find.
Feel free to e mail me with any questions or I can take extra pictures of whatever you want to see.
Here is a few things I do know about the car. The car has been sitting for about 8 years since I got it. Before I put it away I could tell the 6 cylinder engine runs very strong. The car would always start right up. It does have an oil leak, looks like it is coming from one of the oil lines. The 5 speed tranny shifts very well. Interior is in nice original shape. It did come from the factory with the gauge package and chrome package. It has rear window defrost and the factory radio. It also has four wheel disk brakes, which work very well. The usual problems with these 911's, the floor pans and the rockers need some attention. They are not rusted out, but are weak. The previous owner welded some metal bars across them for extra support. The only super bad thing I see wrong with the car is a part of the rear suspension. The rear sway bar next to where the rear trailing arm meets the car has broken loose. Its the part where the rear trailing arm mounts to the car. It also has a matching spare with original jack. I do have 4 maintenance manuals and a pile of paperwork on previous maintenance that has been done to the car over the course of its life.
Shipping the car can be done at the buyers expense. The car is located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.I do want a non refundable $1000 deposit at auctions end through pay pal to cover my fees and time. The rest can be paid with cash, cashier's cheque in person on pick up.
The paint code for this car is 63-6838-G
I believe I am the 3rd owner to this car. The last owner said it was a matching numbers car. I am not sure how to tell exactly. You would think if the numbers match, but its more complicated than that with these older cars. The two numbers off the engine are. Top of the fan #901106101 5r, next to the oil line from the block *6196466*, hope that helps.
