Description
1973 Porsche 914.I am the third owner of this 1.7 L fuel injected Porsche 914 and have owned the car since 2014. This car is absolutely the most fun to drive. Pennsylvania inspection just completed.
There are extensive maintenance records thru August 1999 –74,178 mileage, current mileage 79,277. I also have the original “Maintenance Record” book from Ted McWilliams Porsche in Pittsburgh, pics can be forwarded. Original 914 owner’s manual included as well as the original bill of sale (pictured). Receipts from the original owner show the car was delivered in Pittsburgh in February 1973.Then in September of 1973 the car was taken to Ann Arbor Michigan till May of 1974. While in Ann Arbor, maintenance was done by Howard Cooper Volkswagen Porsche Audi. The car returned to Pittsburgh in May 1974 per regular maintenance receipts from Porsche Audi North in Wexford (Pittsburgh) Pa. and then to Sewickley Porsche Audi. Clutch and pressure plate were replaced by Sewickley Porsche in May 1980 with 53,500 miles.
Original steering wheel included (pictured), new Lloyds carmats, after market sway bar has been installed on front suspension, an oilcooler with electric auxiliary cooling fan has also been installed. The car comes with the original jack and extra wheel in very good condition. All the wheels on the car are in good condition as seen in photos. I have installed new master cylinder, new fuel pump, new clutch cable, new starter, new ignition switch.
Mechanical oil pressure gauge was installed as can be seen on the center consol.
The battery tray needs replaced and the necessary parts (Carrier plate for the battery and supporting plate) are included as pictured.
The right rear trunk hinge needs replaced but the trunk lid functions fine.
The windshield wiper switch needs replaced and is included (pictured). The wipers work they are just on all the time. They are on a separate fuse and turn them off by removing the fuse from the fuse holder.
At some point the car was hit in the right rear corner and repaired.
If you need any more pics, tell me what you need and I will get them to you.
