WHY AM I SELLING?
I bought this to surprise my family with a fun convertible for everyone to drive but not everyone wants to drive a manual apparently. It kills me to sell this car but I will be looking for an automatic. The car is such a pleasure to drive and you would be proud to drive it to any car show or PCA event.
VALUE
Overall the value of the 944 model has been increasing steadily over the last few years with the Turbo models leading the way with double digit growth. However, these final year 944 models are undervalued and are starting to increase and become more collectible as they remain affordable, rare and fun to drive. This is the last year of production for the 944 and rare with only 561 convertibles built. It also has the 3.0 litre engine which is the largest displacement engine ever placed in a 944. Overall the 944 is poised to continue to rise in value. While you won’t get rich investing in this car, what other drop top Porsche with a 5 speed manual transmission can you buy for less than the price of a Camry, drive for as long as you want, and then sell it for what you bought it for or more. The last production year of any car is usually the most valuable over time and manual transmission Porsches will never go down in value. Period. This is a lot of car for the money. Bid with confidence.
