Porsche: 944 TURBO

This 1986 Porsche Guards Red 944 turbo comes equipped with factory sport seats in pin stripe suede, elevated hub steering wheel, 5P open differential transmission with cooler loop and the factory 2.5 liter turbocharged engine.The 86 is a good year due to the forged internals and non airbag equipped, its the choice year for a simpler,more lightweight and less complex 951.I had the exterior polished to a nice wet glossy look and the paint looks fantastic.There are no noticeable dents,dings,rust or perforations on the panels,they all align as they should.I see no indication the car was ever involved in an accident.Sunroof and clock operate as they should. The dash was recovered in a custom alcantara black fabric and fits tight,done at upholstery shop. The original phone dial rims are fitted with Michelin sport tires and have good tread.No scuffs on the rims or curb rash either.Overall this is a very desirable model and prices are going up strong on them as such.You cant get more thrust for your buck in a porsche than the 951.With it out of the wrapper at 220 Hp and stock it is very fast but when combined with mild performance upgrades as shown, such as a larger turbo,increased boost,fuel, air and engine management system it is faster than very fast.. The weight distribution is a near perfect 50/50 and the car is under 2950 pounds so do the math.I have many new performance items that I was going to install to make this the ultimate 951 show and street car but with such high prices being paid for unmolested stock cars I have decided to hold off on the upgrades.However, here is a list of what I have painstakingly collected.These items that I have are as follows and go with the car,purchased separately they would cost you around 10k. so its like your getting the car for 10k at the starting bid which is very cheap for this mileage and options. The car is sold as is where is no warranty,you can inspect it before purchase.NO RESERVE.
1. New, Garret T3 T04E P trim stage 3 60-1 hi fi CHRA wet turbo.Similar to a GT35 from turbonetics but capable of more power,the 60-1 is the winning est compressor wheel in the history of gas turbocharging and the 60-1 surge line is almost vertical, flowing huge amounts of air. This turbo supports well over 400 Hp.This is a Real Garret not a cheap Chinese clone which is garbage.
2. New, MAF kit by Huntley racing and the PSC1004 laptop programmable piggyback by split second,has many maps and thousands of fine tuning capabilities .
Both stage 3 and stage 4 Mafs included, purosils,clamps,connectors,2 trees.
You need this at 400 Hp.The stock AFM wont keep up at this level.
3. New Fabspeed full stainless 3 inch exhaust with cat delete test pipe.Polished oval tip with rolled edge. All clamps,gaskets and fasteners.Sounds amazing and big spool up increase over 30 year old clogged catalytic converters that rob you of power and performance.
4. New Lindsey stainless fuel lines and anodized blue Lindsey fuel rail,Fuel Lab remote adjustable fuel pressure regulator and anodized red Marron damper.The original fuel lines and rails are old accidents waiting to happen,don't risk it.You will need larger injectors,your choice.
5. Beautiful show Polished intake, cam box, speed force stainless boost pipes and Turbonetics Godzilla blow off valve.
6. New Turbonetics deltagate dualport wastegate,stock ones are all defective or will be soon.
7. DP 3 pc. Enduro wheels in 17x9 and 17X9.5 perfect offset for 86 turbo.
8. 4 New 225/45/17 and 265/40/17 Hankook Evo 2 tires and new valve stem kit.ZR rated AAA
9. New Sachs CUP clutch and new pressure plate.Not stock much better.
10. New power steering pump and refurbished rack.Car leaks power steering fluid like most do.
11. New Turbo floor mats,shift boot and stainless turbo script door sills and shift cap from rennbay.
12. 4 new Mahle oil filters.
13. New power steering pump,rack and other items.
Once this is all properly installed you will have a very impressive driving machine capable of toying with the porsche GT3 and you wont have the $1,000 dollar per month lease payment that the GT3 brings.This is the deal and the price is not negotiable.
