Description

1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S w 98K+ miles
** Please note: My two beautiful daughters are not part of the deal!!! (Boxer is negotiable)
349 HP of Turbo charged Hell! Car is a blast to drive. Dyno'd 279HP/318 lbsTorque at rear wheels.
Calculation using 20% power loss thru powertrain equals 349HP & 397lbs Torque at engine.. which equals fun in a 3000lb car!
DETAILS: Engine rebuilt in 2006. Nikasil Engine Block (Nikasil is a trademarked electrodeposited lipophilic nickel matrix silicon carbide coating for engine components, mainly piston engine cylinder liners.). J&E High Comp Pistons. Mahle Piston Rings. Carillo Connecting rods. Rebuilt Turbo. New Oil Pump. Baffled oil pan. Lightened Flywheel(by 10lb). Knife -Edge crank(lightened by 10lb). Have my original Bill of Sale and most receipts dating back to date of purchase in 1993. Car had 19,061 miles on it. Bought it from "Refrigerator" Perry's cousin.
Additional Components:
- Brembo brake Calipers(Original Equip.)
- Cryogenic Rotors
- KONI Struts(Original Equip.)
- Borla Exhaust pipe
- Adjustable Strut Tower.
- Sunroof.
- Momo Steering wheel
- 8-way adjustable Leather Power Driver and Passenger seats. Both have minor stitching flaws that
do not affect performance!
- Original Steering Wheel included, Passenger Door Panel & Minor group of spare parts included.
In 1988, this car raced in the same class as 911 Turbos. Originally came with 247 HP engine and original specs of 161 MPH top speed. The 944 Turbo S, is a beefed up version of the 944 Turbo. It came with a larger Turbo, larger Wheels/tires, larger brakes, totally adjustable suspension(change ride height and shift weight from corner to corner). Basically a race car for the track or street, and it was a limited edition(1635 according to Wikipedia). I have the original window sticker showing original cost of $49,842.00.
I still have 95% of all 21 years of repair/upgrade bills(Books & Records).
Brakes are incredible. Like they say, "Stops on a dime and leaves you change!"
Still running original wheels. Also have 18" Tires/Wheels with slicks if interested.
Come for a test drive, leave with a smile on your face.
Have owned this car for over 21 years. It's time for someone else to have some fun.
