1993 Porsche 911 (964) Carerra 2

I've owned my Porsche 911 Carrera 2S (aka 964) for eight years.
I purchased the car from an academic dean at our local university; we had several mutual friends in common and the transaction was very forthright and transparent. In the years I've owned the car it has been trouble free with the exceptions of minor repairs and maintenance.However, because of a very small oil drip two years ago, I decided to have Alex's Auto Repair in Eugene Oregon pull the engine and replace the sealsalmost no oil had been leaking but I decided it would be wise to prevent the old seals ( 21 years old) from further deterioration and I felt fortunate having a local Porsche mechanic work on it. The repair cost about $5700 but since then not a single drop of oil has leaked onto my garage floor.The car runs exceptionally well and I am not aware of any mechanical problems.
The car mileage is115K which averages about 4,100 per year throughout its life. At my age (79) I was never a “hotdog” behind the wheel but it has definitely been a thrill to drive this car.
Although the body has a few small, but not very noticeable dings, the interior and exterior are in very good condition. Over the years many people have commented favorably on the color.Amazon Green. I have thorough repair and maintenance records for the life of the car. I have a second stainless steel muffler that was on the car when I bought it and it yields about 12 additional horsepower. My wife objected to its “throaty”sound, which I loved, so I switched back to the original muffler. The previous owner had a wonderful $6,000 Eclipse stereo system installed with several additional speakers and a large amp installed under the front hood. Included are a repair manual and a coffee table book about the 964 model.
