2001 Porsche Boxster Roadster Convertible 2-Door 2.7L

Offered here for sale is my 2001 Convertible Porsche Boxster. This car has just 109k original miles on the speedometer. It has a 2.7L six cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission.
This gorgeous Porshe started life as a special order car with the following factory added options: the Aero Package which includes a body colored wing on the rear trunk, Handling Package, 18" Boxster S rims. This Boxster runs strong, is fun to drive, and has new tires. And all of these optional factory upgrades are wrapped in a lustrous, beautiful, and rare special order body color; Orient Red Metallic. The interior is upholstered in a buttery beige leather.
History: This car was special ordered from Scottsdale Porsche. The financing fell through and the original owner had to turn it back into the dealer with just over 600 miles on it. The second owner, who is my brother-in-law, purchased the car from Scottsdale Porsche for about $54,000.
This Porshe Boxster was his weekend car and this baby spent most of its time in the climate-controlled garage. All the scheduled maintenance and service was done at the dealer. I would admire this beauty everytime we went out to visit him. He sold the car to me in 2006 with a mere 27,000 miles on the speedo and I have owned the car ever since. I have the pink slip in hand and am ready to transfer clean title to the next lucky owner.
Repair History: Each major recommended service has been performed, in addition to the following repairs; Alternator replaced 2010, Radiator reservoir replaced 2011, Oil separator replaced 2014. All service and repairs were done by Modern Specialists in Long Beach, CA.
Repairs needed: the driver's seat needs to be reupholstered, the driver's window is stuck open and needs a new motor (@$200), the rear plastic window needs to be replaced ( $175 at Batz auto tops, L.A.) There is a rock chip in the windshield. The cup holders need to be replaced. And the check engine light is on (The car needs 2 oxygen sensors. These need to be replaced before it will pass a California state required smog test; they are expensive about $250 each.) The tags have just expired but the fees were paid and the CA DMV just needs a smog cert before it can issue new tags.
In addition to the usual dings and rock strikes, this car has some exterior body damage; there is a deep scrape on the passenger side rear quarter panel, and the front air dam is cracked.
This Porshe Boxster may have some issues and present some challenges, but it is your opportunity to own the best, fastest, true sports car you will ever love at a rock bottom price!
