Description

Thank you for viewing my advert for this stunning 2007 (56 plate) Porsche Boxster (987 Gen 1) 3.4S, in midnight blue with blue hood and optional blue leather. Arguably the best colour combination. This car is exceptional with full PORSCHE service history as opposed to 'specialist' service history, an MOT till January 2016 and a low 63,000 miles on the clock. Although you hear this on a lot of adverts, this car really looks, feels and drives much better than cars half its mileage / age (even confirmed by a fellow Porsche enthusiast this weekend just gone). This is the more desirable 3.4 litre engine which has more lower end drive over the 3.2 and more character than the later DFI engines. It comes with the 6 speed gearbox, which feels tight and positive and goes well with the very recently replaced clutch, ensuring peace of mind that now hefty clutch / gearbox bills are imminent. It comes with a CD player, rear parking sensors, auto climate, wind deflector and my favourite feature genuine Porsche 911 997 Turbo S wheels, with a receipt of £2166.67.
I spent a long time searching for the right Porsche Boxster, and was lucky enough to have a friend within Porsche to run checks with all the ones I saw advertised that looked ideal. I was surprised to see so many ruled out by himliterally dozens (Facebook messages to prove him dismiss so many), either due to not seeing a Porsche dealership in years or because the engine had been 'over revved' past stage 3 upwards. So when this came in with full Porsche history and checked all ok by my friend, I had to jump on it. If you chose not to run with this, I highly recommend you do your checks on other Porsches they are very reliable if looked after well, but costly if not of course.
The previous owner was very particular in looking after his pride and joy, with all work carried out at Porsche (water hose receipt for £688.04 in January 2015 and £2,499.90 service charge in Aug 15), all MOT's have been kept and Michelin Pilot Sport 2's kept on the car all round. No expense spared. The major service in August 2014 (done at 57,041) included new clutch, ignition coils, spark plugs, brake fluid change, auxiliary belt replacement and all other usual oils / filters you would expect. Receipts to prove.
Since owning it myself I have detailed it using snow foam, 2 bucket wash method, clay barred, machine polished, glazed and waxed. Always keep an eye on oil (system does a check on start up) and use VPower fuel. It is garaged and used as a second car recently taking me on a European road trip through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany without missing a beat. The car drives beautifully and just like a new car, as mentioned before the gearbox and clutch feel very tight. The car has a lot of character and feel, a lovely responsive 3.4 engine with a glorious sound at 4-5k upwards. It is just such a great and rewarding place to be! The leather on the passenger and drivers seats is barely touched, I have literally never seen leather on a Boxster this age show so little wear, which goes well with the rest of this cars impeccable condition I felt a video needed to be done to show how good this car is, as pictures can look flattering in certain lights face="Arial" size="2">Last service @ Porsche Sheffield on 26/8/14 - 57,041. So you have a while yet until next service will be due. All MOT's supplied, 3 keys, many receipts, all Porsche booklets. Tyres all good, rears at 6mm fronts at about 4mm. Brake pads appear good front and back also. This car is ready to drive hassle free no heavy bills to come early on in ownership. All panels are straight, it has never been in an accident or seen paint.
The buy it now price is £13,850 which is my lowest price I can take for this and should see a quick sale. It was listed at a higher price due to this being such a stunning example and mechanically well maintained and looked after - myself and friends within the Porsche Boxster owners group are baffled to how it hasn't been snapped up someone will have a stunning car for sure. The reason for my sale is due to struggling to use it often. I am a driving instructor, as well as running a kickboxing club and help people with nutrition. I sold my hill climb car to get my first Porsche hoping to use it a lot more with me drifting away from driving instructing, but I am still not ready to dive in with my nutrition business and therefore have signed a 2 year lease on a new Mini Cooper D to continue driving instructing just to be on the safe side. I am keen to get back into motorsport, as it is the only way I can now justify having a second car for a toy (just married and already getting told off haha), and a friend with his Hayabusa powered Westfield is currently being held for me. Selling any less would be ridiculous though and it will be kept till next spring if need be where I shall then demand the full price before the summer of £15k plus.
I can not stress how stunning this car is leather is barely touched on the bolsters of seats, car drives as if half its age / mileage, servicing has never strayed away from Porsche dealerships no matter the costs, no servicing needed for another 12 months where it will be a minor service, clutch already replaced and the exterior is stunning and well looked after as opposed to being put through town hand wash services. When you come to see this you will see for yourself.
Please feel free to email me on [email protected] or call / text 07960524276. Happy to talk to any serious owners more about the car, and forward more pics, videos, service record pictures etc no problem. Please ensure when seeing the vehicle you have insurance in place that covers my car fully comprehensively in order to test drive, otherwise I will have to take you out.
** Number plate K80 XAA will not come with the vehicle under no circumstances. It is not a Boxster plate but a plate bought for my 21st birthday many moons ago, which links in with a kickboxing club I run. The plate it shall be on will be FJ56 BZF. A £500 deposit will be needed to secure sale within 24hr of auction end **
