Description
Selling a gorgeous black on tan 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Enthusiast owned with a clean carfax and relatively low miles at 98000. Selling only to finance purchase of a newer one.
Located in Meridian MS, but willing to deliver to nearby cities like Birmingham, Atlanta, New Orleans, etc
2008 was the first year for the second generation of the Cayenne, which came with a number of improvements over the first generation. Power went up 50hp to 500hp and fuel economy improved thanks to an increase in displacement and direct injection. I have maintained the engine religiously with Mobile One 0W-40. The car also has only 5000 miles on brand new brake pads and drilled/slotted rotors.
The car is extremely fast (4.8 seconds 0-60) drives smooth, and is very reliable. No warning lights or any mechanical issues. I replaced the cardan driveshaft myself with an improved part, and the second generation Cayenne doesn't suffer from the same coolant pipe cracking issue that plagued the first generation Cayenne. Other than that, these cars are known for being exceptionally well built and dependable. The prestige of a Range Rover without any of the headaches! (And faster to boot!) the air suspension works great and has multiple ride height modes, including a special terrain clearance mode. There are also locking differentials and gear reduction for off-road driving. Further, the car is an incredible tow vehicle with a 7700lb tow rating- this is all in a car that is also capable of a 176mph top speed.
There are a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes requisite with the age and mileage. I have detailed those in the pictures, but in general the car looks very good. The Pirelli tires still have good tread on them, fronts maybe 60%, rears 40%, but I also have another set of 2 extra Pirelli tires with 60% tread on them to go with the sale.
