Description

2005 Porsche Cayenne
I am selling my 2005 Porsche Cayenne, my husband bought this car off a friend who had owned the car from brand new and had used it to commute between Southport and London. The car does have high mileage 189835 but these are mostly motorway miles, it also has a huge amount of service history including full Chester Porsche service history up until 2010 and then it has been serviced by a local garage. There are loads of Chester Porsche receipts for the car as whatever it has ever needed its has had with no expense spared, I even have the order form and compliment slip from when it was bought new. It also has a tracker fitted which we have never bothered to have activated but I do have all the information and details so if the new owner wanted to register it everything is with it. It also comes with two keys. The body work on the car is like new, it has two car park dents one on the passenger side rear door and one on the drivers side rear quarter but they are not bad and other than that it is immaculate. I have tried to show in the pictures the condition of the body work but strongly suggest that anyone interested view the car because they really don't do it justice. The interior is also like new, because it was used to commute only the drivers seat has really ever been used and even that doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. Like I have said any inspection is welcome as this car for its age really is like new. The engine runs perfectly and never misses a beat, I am still using the car daily so the mileage will go up slightly. Now for the bad bits A couple of months ago the ABS warning light came up on the dashboard, I took it to my local garage and they told me it was the ABS pressure sensor which is apparently a common fault on these cars. As it was not affecting the car in any way I decided to leave it and just keep driving it, last week when we decided to sell the car I took it back to the garage and had the part fitted at a cost of nearly £200 and it is still not fixed. The garage are now telling me that it could either be that the car needs plugging in by a Porsche specialist and resetting on the computer or it could be one of the ABS sensors on the wheels so we decided to just sell it with the fault. Also at the same time as the ABS fault came up it also brought up a air suspension fault, I am not sure if these are connected as the suspension hasn't dropped but it is another fault that needs investigating. I have been driving around with both these faults every day for months and they really don't affect the driving of the car at all. I will be really sorry to see this car go but I have now got a job closer to home so it is only being used to do the school run and the 3 mile commute to work so I have decided to get a smaller car with a smaller engine.
