Proton Satria GTI TURBO
This car brings a smile to my face every time I drive it! Very quick car and handles like a go-cart with the Lotus tuned suspension!
The car was turbo charged when I bought it a year ago but it didn't last long as a big end spun on the crank = not happy!
I eventually found and fitted an engine in February. I was told the engine had been rebuilt, replacing parts where necessary, and had done 5000 miles since.
There is around 55000 miles on the clock - taxed until end of August 2014 - MOT until march 2015
Bad points out the way first..
ABS light is on (needs putting on computer to find fault - I have removed bulb but can be re-fitted easily)
The engine requires a 'LIVE' remap to suit all upgrades as it does misfire slightly when you put foot to the floor (still pulls really well & no problems in everyday driving)
Handbrake is weak
Paintwork has a few scratches - front bumper & n/s/f wheel has flaked
Since I have fitted the engine and put it back on the road I have replaced
O/s/r caliper
Battery
Cambelt kit
Head gasket
Steering rack rubbers
Front & o/s/r tyres
Oil & filter
