Magnificent design with various flush fit storage cubbies and one switch which drops all side windows while the glass roof retracts simultaneously for stylish pillarless cruising.
Comes with zipped leather owners wallet containing several booklets including stamped service book and Owners Handbook. I have two remote locking keys, two cubby-hatch keys and two small red security keys. V5 is here in my name. There are 8 service stamps in the book (service intervals suggested by Renault is every 18,000 miles). Last service was at 99,700 miles 12 months ago. Mileage is now 104,250. This car has been frequently serviced at a very well respected Renault Specialist Garage by the last owner during his 8 year ownership. I purchased the car through the garage and they provided print-outs of work carried out, including Clutch (£1,109), Brake discs and pads, plus tyres (£880), Radiator (£487), Handbrake cables, anti roll bar links etc (£966), Coil Spring & Shock ABsorber turn Bearing plus tyres (£542), Air Conditioning clean and re-charge, Clean and rebuild of rear brakes plus major service £591), Exhaust, Timing Belt Kit, Water Pump Alternator Belt Kit, New Crank-Shaft Pulley (£1,330 - July 2012), Both front Shock Absorber turn Bearings, rear brake discs and pads, tyres, service (£1,194 - June 2013), Wheel Bearing, Wiper Blade & diagnostics £388 - October 2013).
Car is MOT'd until March 12th 2015 and has only covered 250 miles since being issued (there were no advisories). It will require a tax disc.
The bodywork presents very well but there are some scuffs and scratches in places, the main being on the rear n/s flank - see photo's. Further improvement would be achieved if the car had a T-Cut style polish. The sliding roof is slow on the return simply through lack of use in the last 12 months. (Fresh lubrication of the runners is an easy job). The aluminium wing-mirror mounts tend to tarnish on Avantimes but they are nice on this car. The silver roof rails have the common oxidisation blisters in places. The presentation of the car would be improved further with refurbishment of a couple of the alloy wheels.
Superbly reliable and a genuine joy to drive. 6-Speed gearbox provides excellent economy on the motorway. I have had a 3-Litre Auto and it was my choice to run the virtually as quick, less thirsty 2.0 Turbo, which also has the benefit of lower servicing bills.
Colour is an entirely personal matter but for me the car has never looked better than it does in Purple.

I would like to think it will be cherished by its new owner. I am simply not using it and must scale down my little collection.
