Description
With much reluctance I'm putting up for sale my lovely little Clio 172 Cup.
Its a very late 2003 car with 95k on the clock and service history. The all important cambelt still has a couple of years left to go before needing to be changed again. Last done in 2011. I do have a brand new complete cambelt kit but this is not included, can be bought for the right price as an extra!
Long MOT until March 2016, no advisories.
You would never tell though from looking at the car its done 95k, its condition makes it appear a lot less than that. Paintwork is lovely and bright. It also drives like its done much less.
The keen eyed amongst you will also notice that it has a full 182 interior so its a much nicer place to sit than a standard 172 Cup.
All the Clio's little weaknesses have been addressed and it has some very sensible and choice upgrades.
Its had expensive Koni top mount adjustable shock absorbers fitted all round, and its sat on Cooksport lowered springs. Not that much over standard though.
Wheels are recently refurbished and matching Toyo rubber all round with plenty of tread left. ITG panel filter in the standard induction setup.
I also fitted only about a month ago a brand new K-Tec Stealth cat back stainless exhaust system, the one with the extra center silencer. Its still quite loud though so be warned! Also fitted are K-Tec engine mounts and uprated dog bone gear selector.
Car is re-mapped via RS Tuner re-map.
The car drives absolutely spot on and has plenty of power as you would expect. Engine is in lovely condition, no nasty noises and seems not to use much oil if any. Suspension also noise free.
The car also has had a steering wheel re-trim so you dont have to worry about the common Clio issue of melting steering wheels! Interior also has a very nice Pioneer stereo recently fitted, speakers are standard.
This is one Clio that needs to be seen to be appreciated, don't confuse this one with all the tatty worn out examples on the market! Don't expect it to be mint condition as there are one or two stone chips and the like, but you'll be hard pressed to find better.
