Description
Specification
Artic Blue Metallic Paint, Cup Spoiler Pack, Cup Suspension Pack, Anthracite Alloys wheels, Renaultsport Half Leather/Half Alcantara Sports Seats, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Automatic Wipers, Automatic Xenon Headlamps, Front Fog Lamps, FM Radio/CD Player, Genuine Renaultsport Floor Mats (new 2015)
Minor Modifications
The car is standard apart from the modifications listed below, all of which are common and sort after by many in the Clio Sport community. I personally have found them all to be genuine improvements.
Scorpion Stainless Steel Exhaust - New in 2012, a pleasant deeper burble than the standard exhaust (but doesn’t sound like a raspy boy racer system). The original mild steel systems are also prone to rusting away, which of course the stainless systems is almost completely resistant too (this system is sold with a lifetime guarantee).
Eibach Sportline Springs - New in 2015, seems to remove any roll or pitch from the car in cornering or braking, without any noticeable degradation to comfort even at slow speeds. Also lowers the car very slightly so the tyre to wheel arch gap is constant all the way around. I think this makes the car look as it should, on the original springs it looks a fraction too high me.
Powerflex PolyBush Dogbone - New in 2015, removes engine wind up and creates a much slicker gear change.
Condition
103,853 miles, this will rise slightly with daily usage. Fantastic car that I have owned for over 3 years now that does not show its age or mileage. I will be very sorry to see it go. The car has been well looked after, never taken on a track day or thrashed from cold, and maintained regularly (service and quality oil change every 6000 miles, recent new rear discs and bearings, recent pads all round). 11 months MOT. Good body work, great interior, the only real negative is a small chip out of the right hand thumb grip (common on these cars). All the electronics work as they should. Drives very well, handling is spot on and feels mechanically tight. Viewing strongly encouraged.
