7 Seater Renault Grand Espace 1.9dci (LHD)
Model Expression
This car was originally purchased from Belgium and registered in the UK then used in Spain for a number of years, but now having moved back to the UK it’s time to sell.
The car has no MOT or road tax and has been stood for approximately 2 years. Recently fitted a new battery to get it going.
It has panoramic roof which is all in good working order, SAT-NAV/CD changer not checked but did work the last time we used it, although if this were to be used an up to date Map disk would be needed. 7 Leather seats which all work ok and are in reasonably good condition for the age. The car had a new engine fitted in 2010; don’t recall what the mileage was at the time but would say the new engine has done no more than 20000-30000 Kms. The speedo is in KM and the lights are LHD i.e everything for driving on the continent. Driver and passenger headrests are screens/DVD players, but still have the originals boxed-up. Rear seats can be removed and face in either direction. Front and rear parking sensors, Tow bar, all round electric windows/mirrors etc.
There are some issues that the buyer would need to resolve with this car and I want to ensure that potential buyers are not expecting a perfect car and therefore the car is sold as seen. Viewings are more than welcome (York YO24 3JG) and any questions just ask.
Engine does sound noisy, but this may be the exhaust system
Air con/blowers has decided not to work (display/s not illuminating) although it did up until a few weeks ago.
Water ingress to Passenger side front head light (still fully functional)
The interior is reasonably good, though the radio console cabinet suffered sun/heat damage (obviously not done in the Uk!) and this restricts the closing
Slight body damage near fuel hatch, though overall body condition not too bad
Service light is illuminated
Hand-brake warning light illuminated (still fully functional)
Have certificate of conformity (COC), V5, Vehicle Approval Certificate etc
There are two dates on the COC, so not sure which is the original build date (in French) either 08/03/2006 or 16/05/2006
