2002 Renault Kangoo Trekka 4x4 1.6 petrol Four Wheel Drive
I bought this vehicle just over a year ago and done 8,000 miles (now 105655) ferrying the children and myself around the country. It has a very sturdy roof rack and a tow bar. With the seats down its like a work van. I have used it as both for family and for work. The four wheel drive system works well and does not involve user participation, it works when its needed and has not let us down. The car is a bit tatty and I wont be cleaning to show room standard. Its had two messy girls in and they are messy. I have serviced it once which involved an oil change and filter change. Actually I think I got my local garage to do it also so 2 oil changes since I have owned it. The electric window switch is a little crap for the drivers window but does work, Aha there is a dent in the side of the boot lid as a DHL van reversed into it when it was open then buggered off. I have on CCTV it was only a gentle knock but still it dented. It shuts and does not leak again its part of the tatty description I am giving the car. It has a new MOT which I had to have a new shock, and some brakes. Now the hand brake works!! It has no windscreen visors. I think they are in the boot but will need fixing. I pulled them off as they kept on dropping down into view when it was not sunny. Over the last week a small thud has been developing from the rear left, I am told its a bush that will need replacing. As its now has no TAX and I have a new car I am leaving that for the new owner to sort. I only hear it occasionally. It drives well and would get in it and drive a distance without a doubt of its ability and condition. It will probably clean up ok but I am selling it as a tatty car. It has a DAB radio with hands free which is awesome, my new car does not and I am missing it along with radio 6 music. Collection only. Cash on collection.
