Description

For sale my Renault Kangoo Trekka 4x4 top of the range model with half leather seats, Air conditioning, electric windows, 2 sunroofs (1 glass & 1 x 3/4 electric fabric roof), airplane lockers. I have owned this car for 3+ years and maintained it regardless. in the last 12 months it has had a complete new front to rear propshaft (new not recon or bearings replaced) . Full all round brake reline including 4 x discs, 4 x calipers & pads, 2 x handbrake cables., 4 x new Uniroyal Rain Expert tyres, electric fuel primer pump. In the previous year it had a new electric power steering pump and washer motor. It has had the oil and filters done 4 times in my ownership and is mechanically 100% and will be sold with a fresh 12month mot test ready to go. It drives absolutely spot on.
It currently has the airplane locker storage system removed and a full length internal roof cage fitted which I personally find a better storage option but both the aircraft lockers and roof cage are included in the sale so the new owner has both options. It has a glass sunroof to the front and an electrically operated 3/4 fabric fold back sun roof to the rear. All the electric windows / sunroof function as they should with zero leaks. The only known (non cosmetic) fault on this vehicle is the front interior lights do not operate automatically when the doors open although they do work manually on the switch. The rear load bay lamp works both automatically and manually.
The engine starts on the button and is leak & smoke free and pulls as it should as is the rest of the drive train. The 4x4 system is the Nissan fully automatic mechanical system that uses an Adaptive Hydraulic Coupling that locks the rear wheels into drive if the front wheels loose traction. The only known foible of this system is the very expensive front to rear propshaft that are prone to wearing the splines, bearings and damper. Renault/Nissan do not sell separate parts for this as they wear simultaneously so if the bearings are shot then so are the splines. Bearings and dampers are available separately from independent suppliers which many owners buy and fit which is only a temporary fix ( I tried it) as it does not replace the worn splines/shaft. I have fitted a complete new propshaft system to mine 6 months ago so it is now fit for another 80,000 miles. All parts fitted to this vehicle have been new OEM parts and no second hand parts have been fitted.
Cosmetically there are some battle scars/scratches to the drivers door and rear wing as shown in the pictures but the car is 100% rust free. There is a stone chip to the bottom right corner of the windscreen which occurred about 4 months ago and hasn't spread at all so I have left it.
The car is fitted with a tow bar, electric windows / sunroof , half leather interior, air conditioning all fully functioning. The car is a great all round load lugging but unpretentious 4x4 which is ideal for getting you out of sticky and muddy situations or for driving in the snow. It is not an off-road vehicle with fully articulating suspension, low range gears or diff locks so will not compete with a Land Rover or similar vehicle.
The car is a great bus which I have enjoyed owning and using for my hobby of scuba diving and UK wild camping / dog walking and I am now only selling as the restoration of my Land Rover 110 is finally coming to an end. I am confident the new owner will be equally pleased with vehicle.
Any viewings / test drives are very welcome before auction end but any bids are to buy and not to view, it is a 10 day auction so there is plenty time to view prior to bidding. If you want a BIN price it is £2500 otherwise the auction will run it's course. A £150 non-refundable deposit is required at auction end, the buyer may then pay the balance / collect at his convenience with the vehicle remaining in secure storage until collected. The vehicle will not be released until full payment has been received and cleared. Thanks for looking any questions please message me. I can take more pictures and email them if required but please remember anyone who bids without viewing is bidding to buy.
