Description
Here is our Megane CC cabriolet convertible or just basically a car that you can take the roof off!
Its a hard top convertible, so in winter you can drive it like a normal car, and then when the sun is out, take the roof off!
We have had it since August 2013, and wouldn't be selling it except for the arrival of our son 2 weeks ago. Its been parked up for 2 months as my I didn't want to sell it but I have to admit that its just not suitable for our family now
its in a lovely dark green (i've not seen many this colour) with beige leather seats, with the usual wear from a 88k mile car
last winter it had a new rear glass window as the heater bit stopped working (common fault which you won't find out until winter!!!!)
there wasn't much service history when we bought it, but we have an amazing local Renault specialist who has looked after it (and all our cars)
it had a full service, cambelt and other bits in august 2013 as I didn't trust the garage who we bought it off who said they had had the cambelt changed (and they hadn't!!!) so it doesn't need changing for 5 years, so its ok until 2018..
My husband changes the oil and filters for me with MANN filters and ELF oil every time the light comes on, and then we have the service light turned off by the above mentioned garage. It doesn't need changing for around 6000 miles.
we have a few receipts from the work we have had done; new wheel bearing, change the gearbox oil, air con regas and shocker absorber etc
the car also comes with 2 working key cards (the spare cost £150!!)
its comes with 12 months MOT (was mot'd on the 9/7/15 and runs until 28/7/16) with no advisories.
all tyres have lots of tread,
everything works as it should! all windows drop (unlike some I've seen) when you lower the roof and all work off the switches
the only thing that doesn't work is the 6 cd changer!! BUT this is because I had a ipod (the old style connector) fitted and it had to use the input where the changer went in, but I found it better to have my ipod than CD's I can never find!!!!!
the car won't come with any tax, due to new laws (bit daft really!) but runs out at the end of the month anyway
I have a HPI report from when I bought the car in 2013, and it was clean
and also a print out of all the old MOT's as well as all the ones since I have owned the car
I'm at home most days (with the baby!) but test drives will need full proof of insurance before driving and deposit for the full amount, otherwise I will be driving!
its a 9 year old car, as has a few usual carpark marks but nothing that you would notice, or that I have felt the need to get repaired!
its a nice honest car, and if it fails to sell for a fair price I will find storage and keep it until the little one is a bit older
if the full asking price is met, I will include a genuine Renault wind deflector that goes in the back seats and stops the wind for spoiling your hair!! We used it last year to drive through France, and sitting at 80+ with the roof down was lovely, we forgot one day and at 70ish I thought i would loose all my hair!!!!
Any questions please ask
