Private sale - we have owned this car for three years, so we can sell with confidence.
As you will see from the photos, this Megane is in good condition. There are a few marks, noticeably some touched in scratches on the bonnet, and some scuffs on the rear bumper (pictured). The interior is solid but again shows some wear to the internal door handles- if you have seen any other Meganes you will realise this is normal. The heated rear screen only works on some lines, but all other electronics are fine. The car comes with a thick paperwork file and two keys.
We have the complete service history, including a cambelt change. Last month we had two new tyres fitted on the front and the tracking done. The rear tyres are also very good. In June we had a new battery fitted with a two year warranty. In 2013 we had the air con recharged. We have all the MOT's and the last one passed with no advisories. We have the HPI certificate from when we bought the car, and we paid cash, but I would always advise anyone to get their own HPI certificate done for full peace of mind. I will guarantee this car will pass fine.
We are just updating the car, and this gives someone else the chance to pick up a reliable, economical and safe car. People are welcome to come and view by appointment and I will answer any questions quickly and honestly. We are based in Old Dalby, Melton Mowbray, but we can arrange to collect buyers from either Leicester or Melton Mowbray train station.

The common faults to look for are electric window mechanisms, steering wheel stalks and squeaking brakes. We have a bill for one electric window mechanism done before we owned the car, and have had the stalks replaced already. The brakes never squeaked! The model they would buy is the 1.9 dCi!
