Description
For sale - I've owned this Megane pretty much since new, as it was a demonstrator that I bought from the garage. I've owned the car for 5 years and it's been a great car but I now have a company car so no need for 2 vehicles!
The car has built in sat nav, Bluetooth connectivity and hands free. Digital dash and displays. The car is in great condition- it has the general wear and tear you'd expect for a 5 yr old car :-). The only damage to report is where a car scraped the front bumper in a car park- no dents but the scratches are to the undercoat. Easily remedied and I've put a photo on here to show you.
The car also comes with a full service history, having been regularly serviced at the right intervals. Just MOTd this week and passed so full 12 months mot too. One thing- the air con needs looking at but of course not an mot failure :-)
In May, somewhat unexpectedly and before the change was due, the timing belt went, resulting in the engine needing to be reconditioned. The full garage receipt is supplied. The repairs cost £3,000 but worth every penny as I've driven the car for a few hundred miles since and it runs beautifully. It's at its happiest on the motorway and doing distances with its Diesel engine, but equally will suit someone doing less frequent long distances and just running round town. It's a great runner and has never let me down- the timing belt was just bad luck but all fixed now.
The car is incredibly economical, cheap tax too. Would make a great little car for someone and I'm sorry to see it go. Cash on collection only and don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to view the car.
