Description
Bought Clio over a year ago with intention of using it for track days. Instead I have been driving it around as a daily driver and have not had the time to use it properly. I have started on the preparing it for track use as you can see.
Good Bits
The Motor is solid and has been serviced regularly.
A lot of weight reduction has been carried out, weighs under 1000KG with a 85KG driver.
Air bags have been removed from dash and top half of the dash is flocked.
Good Quality Xenon Kit was fitted before I bought the car.
Modified Induction system with cold air feed and K&N Panel Filter.
Cobra Evolution Standard Size GRP Bucket seat on custom alloy side mounts is fitted. ( Seat is much lighter than the Corbeau Revolution )
Sparco 3" 4 point harness fitted.
Lowered Steering Column and snap of steering wheel boss fitted with 330mm OMP flat swede steering wheel.
Radio and speakers removed and custom panel is fitted ready to be wired in if needed. Panel includes 12v cigarette lighter socket, electrical master ignition switch, a spare toggle switch and the horn has been fitted to the other switch and is operational.
Tyres are good
Bonnet pins are installed.
Bad Bits
Some small dents on the bonnet and on the roof.
Bonnet non original and is a flatter shade of silver.
Driver electric window works but the bottom fixing bracket is broken and can be a pain sometimes.
Electric side mirror adjustment switch sorted and burn out. Now the car always thinks a door is open and you cant lock it without the alarm beeping.
The engine management light and service light is on on the dash. EML is on due to some Pipework deletes in the engine bay.
The car functions well and is a really good Starting block for a track slayer.
