Stunning 1953 MG TD classic factory built at London Motors Ltd. in Dearborn Michigan. It boasts a 4 Speed Manual VW 1600cc 4 cylinder. Very low mileage at under 10k. There is a tan manual top with a plastic window in excellent condition. London Motors promoted this car as a parade vehicle with lots of chrome, pin striping, yellow fog lights and a ooga horn. Since the engine is in the rear the entire front of the car is a great size trunk that is fully carpeted. The body is fiberglass and the finish simply flashes. It was professionally inspected by CarDr.com to insure that I was purchasing an excellent model. I have the report in a PDF file that I can email to serious buyers. The the report is 9 pages in length with 16 additional photos of the car.
I purchased a month and a half ago four brand new tires as the tires that came to me were dated 1971 and needed to have fresh rubber. It also just had an oil change.
The bench seat is stationary and will accommodate a person 6'-1" max height.
This MG definitely turns heads and gets a ton of attention at the car shows. It earned a Best of Show at one of the shows last summer. You will not be disappointed to be the owner of this classic Gatsby Era car.
