Beautiful 1980 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II in Chestnut Brown with Tan leather interior with 54,000 original Miles. 6.7 Liter V8 with Air conditioning/heating, power steering, power windows, power door locks and power seats. The car is a real "head turner" the interior upholstery is exceptional and the dash is in real good shape. The tires have 80% or more tread life left in them. Car has been in climate controlled storage. Selling part of collection.
Original books and literature including purchase records. Service history provided with sale. Mechanically this Silver Shadow is strong with all maintenance up to date. No leaks or rattles or quirks. All electrical is in working order. This car drives very "tight" without any typical "rattles" and "thumps" typical of this model.
The body is straight and paint is Shiny and consistent. Like most Silver Shadows it was professionally repainted to its original color and looks great. The car does have some of the signature hair lines at the base of the A&C pillars. ( Rolls Royce used the "lead-wiping" technique for joining body panels. with the different expansion and contraction rates of lead vs steel, this caused the paint to fracture and so paint stress marks at the points occurred on every single Silver Shadow. Overall, minor blemishes and marks. Well above average for a Rolls Royce of this age.
The interior presents beautifully; very clean and fresh with the leather in an excellent state. It is the original factory leather- and has only been mildly re-Connolly-ised ( a hand-rubbing process to restore color.) Pristine original Wool carpeting in interior and rear. Matching floor matts included.
All features, gauges and instrument electronics work well. All interior lights and dash lights are all fully working. Heater and air conditioning are fully functional. All the windows have a smooth and swift up and down movement. (windows often get very slow on Silver Shadows)
The vehicle is Located in Dallas TX and stored indoors. Shipping will be at buyers expense.
