Australian Delivered 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit with low klm's for its age.
This car spent 11 years stored in Canberra before I purchased it.
I picked up the car three years ago & drove it back to Melbourne in order to assess its mechanical prowess & although it was mildly disappointing given its reputation, the car that will welcome you bears little resemblance to the one that I trusted not to let me down.
Now apart from it being a hot summer night in January 2013 with sadly no air-conditioning, no music due to the degradation of the speakers, sticky carburettors due to old fuel & lack of use, some vacuum leaks given the poor condition of the exhaust & brakes that were a little more than spongy due to deterioration of seals & again due to lack of use, clearly it had its phantoms & a shadow of its former self, thankfully it rumbled into Melbourne due to flat spots on the tyres & a little worse for wear for the experience before the fuel pump finally gave up the ghost.
It was nonetheless full of promise & spirit as it now sits proud with all its current appeal, however the speakers will need to be changed & will be if the new owner requires the current sound system over an upgrade.
It is all original apart from the key-less entry & is clean, tidy & most of all an honest vehicle, despite the aforementioned issues, as it now commands attention for a different reason, none of which will be a burden to your hip pocket unless your expectations exceed that of my own & you want it to look like new, then this will make a perfect platform.
This vehicle does everything it needs too as it stands & it does it well & represent great value (speakers aside) in its current condition & will come with a genuine RWC to any Victorian purchaser.
It starts effortlessly, drives better than the dreamy recliner you've had your eye on, however with all of the creature comforts & handles as it was intended which no other car can boast & will not disappoint as a daily driver or for that special occasion.
