1999 Rover Mini - Excellent condition Sports Pack metallic dark blue and white roof and black leather interior refitted with rally sports seats.
This is one of the last year models of the classic shape that wasn't ever originally offered in Australia until the recently approved full low volume compliance scheme allowed this and this vehicle has been imported from Japan where they were fully optioned for the export market and rust is not an issue and this one out of 6 other current and many previous Minis I have imported and is a fairly mid-range priced excellent condition example with a fabulous condition underbody and we have plenty more photographs than the 12 shown in this advert of the car in general but particularly that show off the condition of the underside as well as outside and in. We also have at our workshop a 4 post hoist where we can place it up high and show the underside of this off in more detail.
Again we were delighted to see up close this one being another great example of what is available in Japan and when it arrived and knew again we had nailed a nice one to be able to offer out and this car shows off a very honest 77000kms on the clock and one can say for sure this does not in this case mean 177000 overall because knowing these cars well I can say the condition matches this number. Consider the overall condition noting the body and bright metallic blue paint and bright decals, mechanicals, interior, underbody - they are in well above average fabulous to excellent condition. OK so this shape started with Morris and Austin and then Leyland changed the appearance slightly in the late 70's but then Rover very smartly resurrected the original look started over 60 years ago so with that old skool "Italian Job" shape preserved, Rover have combined this with all the modern appointments of a Twin Point EFI 1275cc motor, ice cold and just recently re-gassed air-conditioning (under bonnet photo shows this actually happening along with some aftermarket gear in engine bay of sassy tappet cover and air filter and oil filler cap), full black leather interior with black "Cobra" rally sport leather seats refitted after we received it back from compliance just to give a more sporty feel, Air Bags, Wood Grain dash, spotlights and P700 funky headlamps, sports pack optioned with larger factory alloy rims and bigger tyres and flared guards, - all beautiful and modern appointments particularly on the inside and this model sadly finished production in year 2000 when BMW took it all over - note this is not a BMW MINI that started 2002 that purists consider "not a real Mini".
This Mini has bright and unblemished metallic dark blue and white paint with bright Cooper decals and pinstriping that is in excellent condition (the pictures were taken before compliance and the video after but both before we put this car in for a full polish and detail and now the paint looks better) and is complimented by factory leather interior and aftermarket refitted "Cobra" rally sport seats and dashboard and carpet, alloy rims, brand new black tyres (required to be fitted as part of the import compliance requirements) that is complimented by chrome grille, door handles and bumpers.
Offer price of $25990 includes the $4500 + tyres spend on full compliance on arrival - this is not a personal import that avoids this "must spend" work as a condition of import and hence to enable registration on Australian roads.
