Description
This car was sold last December, but due to the buyer not paying, is being re-listed.
This car will be a great everyday driver, as it was for me until last fall. The only serious issue it has is with a failed neutral position switch. This failure means the car doesn't know what position the gears are in, and thus the electrical system won't allow the car to be started. The part is a few hundred dollars, and an afternoon. I don't have the time, or ability to change it myself. Once that is fixed, the car runs great. It has a new turbo with less than 10K on it, and the engine and trans run perfectly.
Cosmetic flaws: There are a bunch, but nothing that effects how it drives. There is overspray from applying a rubber coating to the convertible top (could be scraped off), the convertible cylinders have leaks, so I haven't had the top down in awhile, the badges on the front and back have been replaced with decals as the paint wore off the originals, the driver side door handle is cracked on the inside of the car, the leather is old and showing signs of cracks, and lastly, the fabric on the headboard is sagging.
This car hasn't run since last fall, so the battery is dead. If you want to test any of the mechanicals, you'll need to bring a charger or a battery.
Nothing that can't be fixed, and rather easily I may add. Let my laziness be a great find for you.
