Description
Very pretty Saab 9-3 Aero, this is the 2ltr turbo 210bhp model.
Colour is Nocturne Blue, hood is dark blue, interior is Parchment leather. Its a 5 speed manual box.
I bought this at the beginning of March this year as a fun car for my wife, but she has hardly driven it and now tells me she doesn't like it - its too fast and the suspension is too firm !
I got it fully serviced (oil, filters, plugs, coolant, thermostat) when I bought it. At the MOT the tester commented on an oil weep from the crank seal, this resulted in a partial strip and whilst the new seal was fitted I had new timing chain and guides, plus new balance chain and guides fitted. At the MOT I also noticed the rear discs were scored, so had these replaced and new pads fitted. At the same time the rear "banana arms" were replaced as these had very slight wear. This car was for my wife, so had to be perfect.
It has excellent matching Bridgestone tyres all round as well, loads of tread left.
Its "fully loaded", having the top of the range Infotainment system with Sat Nav fitted, which includes a CD multichanger in the head unit. All works perfectly. The seats are heated and electronically adjustable, with memory on the drivers seat. The leather is in excellent condition. It has rear park sensors, zenon headlights, headlight washers and auto dipping rear view mirror. It has rain sensing wipers - but the headlights are NOT automatic !
The body is excellent, a few small marks as you would expect but very straight and sound. The interior is excellent, just a small mark on the passenger side centre console where a phone kit has been removed. It now has a Bury 9048 bluetooth kit fitted.
The hood works faultlessly, and the engine is great, loads of power and no strange noises. Gearbox is smooth, clutch is light and bites where it should.
I am the third owner, first was Saab (pre registered) then one lady owner. I have both keys and all the handbooks and service records.
Its not the cheapest one about, but I think the asking price reflects how up together it is.
