Description
This is my Saab 9-3 Aero TTiD 180. In stunning black with lovely contrasting cream leather interior this is one of the later shape 9-3 models with the cracking twin turbo diesel engine, in highest 180 bhp form and six speed manual gearbox. It has done around 80,500 miles, has a 11 months MOT, full service history, with cambelt change and is taxed and in regular use.
The Aero was top of the range and it really is a lovely car, it comes with stylish standard body kit, twin tail pipes and Xenon lights with washers, it has sports suspension so handles well but is still comfortable and fantastic heated front seats with usual Saab comfort and lots of adjustments. There's also climate control with separate driver and passenger temperature control and cruise control. Despite being quick - the twin turbo means very little turbo lag and lots of poke, it is really economical averaging around 50mpg, I'm not usually a diesel fan but it really is a proper sports saloon. It is also in a low tax bracket ~£145 per year. The car has is a good size, seating 5 adults in comfort with 3 full shoulder belts in rear, the boot is big and back seat folds for longer loads if needed.
I bought the car from my brother when he emigrated last November, it has been well serviced, with stamps in book mostly from Saab dealers initially and Saab specialists more recently. Most recent work includes rear brake pads and front tyres for MOT (September 16th) and oil service not long before that. The cambelt and water pump were changed in October 2013 (~56K miles) so plenty of life left there, alternator was replaced April 2014. Tyres are decent matching Avon ZZ5s which are really good in wet and dry with front ones changed last month.
The bodywork is all good with only minor marks here and there but it still looks really smart and classy in black. Only the wheels let it down slightly with some scuffs on the front wheels. Interior looks great in cream/black leather which is the best colour combo I think, classy but a lot lighter than the black option. There are factory mats fitted front and back. I have two keys, service book and receipts for recent work. Only selling as my wife has offer of another car from a friend.
I have an all clear HPI check from when my brother bought the car and it has never been involved in any accidents that I'm aware of.
Any questions and viewing welcomed - in Houghton Regis near Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Thanks
Bruce
