Description

Here you have my beloved Saab convertible that I first bought in May 2013 and greatly enjoyed through the summer of last year.I sold it to a friend at the end of last August - as I do not have garage space for the winter - and he drove it through the winter as his main car. I bought it back from him in April of this year - as he needed cash - and we have again enjoyed it through the past few months. Now the season is ending again so she needs to go to a new home - preferably with someone who can garage her for the winter.
It is the best colour combination of all - lovely metallic silver with navy blue roof - with alloy wheels and plush leather seats, all in good condition for the year. The electrically powered roof is a fabulous piece of engineering that seamlessly folds the roof away in seconds and, if you wish, lowers all four windows to make for a stunning looking open topped four-seater.
For a 14 year old car she is in lovely nick and whilst there are various small marks and dings these do not detract from the overall look of the vehicle. When I got her back this April, I had her serviced and have only done a few hundred miles this summer so she is ready to go.Taxed to the end of October, and Mot'd to November. All tyres are good so just get in and drive.
She really does go like a Saab should - fast, quiet, comfortable and effortless. You will not be disappointed. Push her on with the hood down and the exhilaration really is mega.
In the interests of complete honesty she does have some minor faults - I call them characteristics as she really does have a character:- a fabulous jealous individual decided to snap-off her electric aerial. The pixels on the dash info display are corrupted - this is a common Saab fault and does not affect the performance of anything, you just can't tell the time! Easily fixable - look online. Every time you start her up there is a message telling to check the coolant level: which is always fine, it's just a sensor fault that I've never had fixed as it really doesn't matter. Alloy wheels show some signs of corrosion if you look really closely. Fifth gear selection - the gate is a bit sloppy so you "feel your way in" - no big deal I can assure you. These minor faults are just me being picky! For a 14 year old cab she really is FAB.
So, there we are. A cracking champagne cabriolet at lemonade money. Here to be sold with sensible opening bid and no reserve - grab yourself an end of season bargain.
