Description
2001 Saturn SL2
230500 (mostly hwy) miles
Automatic Transmission
(Transmission was rebuilt by an ASE-certified shop in 2013)
A/C
(the compressor and condenser freon radiator were replaced and system flushed by an ASE-certified shop in 2012)
Pwr windows/locks/mirrors
Cruise Control
great sounding AM/FM/CD/Tape with multiple equalizer control settings
Transmission has automatic Traction Control, which has been very handy when driving on wet and icy roads
-
other positives:
37 mpg hwy!
great running engine and transmission
very good A/C
very good tread on tires, and has a Full-Sized spare
- New TX State safety/smog Inspection sticker -
Current sticker is good until June 2015.
I've always used WIX brand oil filters, and have changed the oil every 3-4K miles.
I installed an oil pressure gauge several years ago, and the oil pressure at idle (engine warm) has always been excellent. It's a healthy engine.
