Relisting as previous buyer failed to contact me to complete purchase, so I don't want any messing aboutonly make sensible offers or 'buy it now' if you will complete the purchase. Please see end of description for post-sale completion requirements.
For sale is a SEAT Alhambra SE TDi (diesel) MPV – Sports version (130 bhp). The car runs well, has never broken down on me, barely consumes any oil and has proved to be reliable. It is surprisingly economical for a vehicle of its size and type, and will return 60+ mpg at the right speed on the motorway, regularly turning in 40-45 mpg on a full tank of diesel (600+ miles) even with urban driving. It has a powerful engine (130bhp) with a fully functioning turbo giving it great acceleration and overtaking ability, and has a powerful engine to tow caravans etc. (towbar fitted). Mileage is 182,264 which is insignificant for a diesel engine.
Parker’s valuation at £2,200 – 2,400 for this particular model with additional benefit of full MOT etc.
It is, obviously, not a new car so shows signs of wear and tear consistent with a vehicle of this age, but is a nice-looking vehicle, with good spec and features and providing a great ride.
Good points:-
1. MOT’ ed on 28th July, so comes with a full 12 months MOT (just a stop bulb at £6.99 needed replacing) and 6 months road tax (until end of January 2015)
3. Fully functioning climate control (air con not working – probably needs re-gassing?)
4. Electric windows and central locking all in order
5. 2 keys with fully-functioning remote central locking
6. Cruise control works perfectly
7. Front and rear window heaters functioning
8. Passenger seat heating (driver’s seat doesn’t heat – fuse?)
9. Towbar fitted
10. Fully functioning engine management system with no warning lights illuminated (providing helpful data for driving management)
11. Registration doc V5C present and correct
12. Sporty seats in very good condition – all fold down (rear 5 are removable, so providing fantastic versatility) with no missing headrests
13. Original manual available
14. Cup holders at front work properly, as do fold up tables behind front seats (see picture)

· Two new rear tyres fitted approx. 18 months ago
New battery fitted a few months ago (medium capacity)
Bad points:-
Bodywork (metallic silver) is generally in good order with no discolouration or flaking paint etc. – However, there are a few marks as to be expected with a vehicle of this age (see pictures). This includes missing plastic trimming along bottom of front and missing plastic grilling on front corner, dent near bottom of tailgate, dent and small rust patch on rear wheel arch, scratches on roof and minor marks/scuffs consistent with age etc.
2. Nearside mirror not responding to electronic control – glass has been broken in past and has replacement mirror glass, - may be easy to fix? However, the wing mirrors fold in electronically to minimise damage when parked etc.
3. Radio/CD doesn’t work – it may be a case of fixing a loose wire or two – 6 CD changer not working – got jammed
4. Wheels screech when pulling out in full lock – common issue?
5. I have noticed slight squeak under car on reversing (only audible with windows open), but otherwise no discernible noises/knocks whilst driving
6. Front bumper corner would benefit from re-fixing back into bodywork – easy to fix
7. Passenger door a little stiff when opening – easily rectified with some grease?
