The SEAT Altea XL is a very practical and comfortable estate car with loads of leg room in the front and back making it ideal for families. However, unlike most estate cars the Altea XL is styled more like a conventional hatchback than an estate. This means that it's huge boot (1604 litres capacity with the seats folded) has an unusually tall loading space. The SEAT Altea XL has a EURO NCAP five star crash test rating and benefits from driver, passenger and side air bags.
Mechanically this car is in great condition and has been well looked after. The car benefits from an MOT until May 2016. There is a full SEAT Dealer Service History until from 2009 until 2014, and I have used our reputable local garage for minor work this year. The cambelt and water pump were replaced at a SEAT garage in 2104 in accordance with dealer recommendation. New brake pads have been fitted prior to sale.
The exterior looks good with no bodywork problems. On close inspection there are small chips, marks and scratches as you would expect from six years of normal wear and tear. Inside the front seats and dashboard are in good condition and whilst the back seats show signs of wear having been used to seat children, there is no significant damage.
