Description
For sale is a 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra Replica. This car was professionally built by a company called “B&B”. It has valid California No-Smog registration, and a clean title in hand.
It is powered by a built Ford 427 Windsor that makes close to 600 horsepower, and a 5-Speed manual transmission. The engine has all forged internals, ARP bolts, ARF heads, and some of the best parts money can buy. The car starts right up, runs, handles, shifts, and drives very smooth and strong, on 91-octance pump gas. It is incredibly fast. It has a really good radiator with an electric fan, as well as an external oil cooler that both keep the engine and oil cool, even when in traffic. It also has disc brakes and coil over suspension which both work very well.
This Cobra is painted in a really nice dark blue with bright white stripes. There are just a few small minor chips and scratches, but overall I would say the paint looks very good. Both the headers and the side pipes have a silver ceramic coating on them.
All of the electronics and gauges work, including the radio. The interior is very nice and original looking. The leather seats are very comfortable, and they have a four-point harness that you can use if you want more safety than just the lap belt.
The only thing this car needs is new door latches. New latches cost about $200 and takes less than 5 minutes to install. I have placed an order for a pair, but they are backordered due to the shortage of everything right now. I will ship them directly to you as soon as I get them.
I am only selling this Cobra because I am going back into the military, and will not be able to realistically take care of it anymore. I would like to see it go to someone who cares for it as much as I do. Please call or text me with any questions. Thank you.
