Description
The car is non-metallic black in color. The odometer shows only 000,266 miles.The odometer reading is a true indication of its original driven miles. The car was built by Shelby American to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the AC Cobra. There was a total of 50 of these cars made and this one is number 26 of 50. The car is constructed of molded fiberglass body with hinged hood, doors and trunk. The cars exterior fiberglass body is painted in non-metallic black and in excellent condition free of any damage or defects. The body is mounted on a 3 inch tubular steel frame and is free of any damage or defects and is in excellent condition. The vehicle features riveted aluminum panels in the trunk compartment, hood compartment, and in various areas on the underside of the car.
The car is fitted with the correct 50th Anniversary emblems. The bumpers, lid handles, and grill are chrome and are in excellent condition. The tires are Firestone Precision Sport blackwalls size 205/65R/15 mounted on 72 spoke chrome wheels, all in excellent condition.
The 50th Anniversary Cobras were fitted with Rosso high quality leather bucket seats with Simpson lap belts. The door panels are the same Rosso leather and both are in excellent condition. The carpets are Wilten wool and are embroidered with the 50th Anniversary emblem. The trunk is also fitted with carpet featuring the same embroidered emblem. The car has a full set of Stewart Warner instrumentation gauges along with odometer clock. The wood rimmed steering wheel is in excellent condition.
The Cobra is powered by an all aluminum 289 CID V-8 Pedigree Ford engine equipped with fuel injection. fitted with Shelby ribbed valve covers. The engine is mated to a Tremec 5-speed standard transmission. It has a Deana 44 rear end. This car features 4 wheels Baer disk brakes and rack and pinion steering. The engine has an aluminium water pump, radiator and Harrison overflow tank.
The car has a dual exhaust system exiting at the rear of the vehicle.
Car comes with a custom cover.
This all original car is in overall immaculate condition! It runs and drives like new and is a real eye catcher!
