Out of 1534 Shelby GT-500 sport roofs produced this rare super cobra jet shelby gt-500 is one of only 66 produced in 1969 with the $155.45 high performance drag pack option. (For 1969/ 1970 combined a mere 170 were built.) The Super Cobra Jet drag pack option adds 20 to 25 percent on to the value when compared to a regular GT-500 Cobra Jet.
This Shelby was parked in 1976 by the original owner and sat for 36 years in New Jersey, as documented in the registry and the Jan and April 2013 Mustang Monthly under rare finds.
