spares or repairs Octavia vrs 2004 98k silver , was running great until it started to misfire,looked at it and fitted a new ignition coil,ran perfect for a week then misfired again,fitted some new bosch super 4 plugs but still misfiring! read the fault codes and came up various misfires and temp sensor, bought a temp sensor and fitted but still the same? was going on holiday around Scotland so bought a replacement car. this is now surplus to requirements. had the car since 2011 ,my wifes car for work/school run etc we bought it with 80k on it and car still only has 98k on now!ive serviced it 3 times now with fully synthetic oil, fitted 4x new maxxis tyres nearly new, fitted grooved and dimpled discs all round,with ebc redstuff front pads. hardly used. ive maintained it recent work are camshaft sensor, front anti roll bar bushes,drop links and has just been in to main dealer for timing belt,tensioners,waterpump and serpentine belt plus new 5 year anti freeze,nearly £400 at dealer and receipt to prove!!have previous mots showing - 25/3/2011 miles 77641 ,31/3/2012 miles 84119, 30/3/2013 miles 91252,29/3/2014 miles 97056 car still starts and drives although misfires! engine management light on only showing misfires ? im not willing to spend any money on a car I don't need. any inspections welcomed. im no mechanic and don't know whats wrong with it, if It does not sell I will break car,so if your after vrs parts keep an eye on this as may break the engine is making all sorts of noises due to misfire, not sure if its a mechanical fault or electrical? any questions/offers or to arrange viewing ring or text me on 07513995092 Andy car is taxed until end of September and tested (no advisories) until march 2015 please no silly offers I wont respond .
